PML-N Wishes To Bring Reforms For Economic, Political Stability: Ahsan

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 24th Oct, 2023) Secretary General of Pakistan Muslim League-N, Ahsan Iqbal on Monday said that his party had desired to bring reforms for economic and political stability in the country.

A heavy mandate government could help resolve the issues of the people in a proper manner, he said while talking to a private television channel.

Pakistan had made tremendous progress under the leadership and vision of Nawaz Sharif, he said. Ex-Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is fully capable of steering the country out of economic crisis, he added.

Commenting on elections in January, he said the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), should conduct elections following the Constitutional procedure.

Delaying elections could create immense trouble for the people of Pakistan, he observed.

He said that PML-N Chief Nawaz Sharif is a popular leader of the country and a huge public gathering at Minar-e-Pakistan was ample proof of his popularity.

Replying to a question, he said all formalities would be fulfilled before going for general elections, adding that Nawaz Sharif would lead the election campaign and form the government with the full support of the people.
