Police Apprehend Five Drug Dealers, Recover Drugs

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 25th Oct, 2023) The Dera police on Wednesday claimed to have apprehended five drug dealers recovering drugs from their possession during ongoing crackdown against the menace of drugs in the district.

Following the directions of District Police Officer Dera Abdul Rauf Babar Qaisrani, the district police were making all out efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from society, said a police spokesman.

As part of such efforts, the team of Cantt Police Station led by SDPO City Circle Muhammad Adnan along with SHO Gulsher Khan arrested five drug peddlers during different actions.

The police arrested Muhammad Rizwan with 270 gram heroin, Muhammad Imran with 125 gram heroin, Muhammad Ramzan with 110 gram hashish, Qamar Zaman with 210 gram hashish and Gohar Khalid with 290 grams of hashish.

The police registered separate cases against the arrested accused and started further investigation.
