New Towers in Mina Will Be Built for Hajj 2024
MINA – The preparation for Hajj 2024 has started in Saudi Arabia, the host country with full zeal.
As per reports, 12 new residential buildings will be built near Mina for the Hajj pilgrims. This will improve the accommodation quality and facilities as per an advisor to the National Committee of Hajj and Umrah, Mr Saad Al Quraish.
Hajj which takes place in the 12th month of the Islamic Calendar in Dhul Hajjah is an important event for Muslims worldwide. During Hajj, Pilgrims spend several nights in Mina which is located six kilometers to the east of the Grand Mosque in Makkah. One of the most important rituals performed by the pilgrims is the throwing of pebbles at the three stone pillars called the Jamarat.
As per Saad Al Quraish, the towers will be fully comfortable and functional for pilgrims performing Hajj 2024 and will enhance their Hajj experience.
Moreover, with the policy changes, he advised the pilgrims to register immediately for Hajj 2024 to secure perfect accommodation.
Moreover, as COVID-19 has marked an end, it is expected that a large number of pilgrims might perform Hajj this year. Keeping in light the number of pilgrims anticipated the Saudi authorities have licensed 166 buildings to accommodate the Hajj 2024 pilgrims. Moreover further applications until next month will also be accepted by the Hajj committee as a part of early preparation for the annual Hajj.
