A new Smart Engineering Center for Command and Control has been inaugurated at the Prophet’s Mosque.
The facility uses interactive dashboards and real-time data to monitor services and operational performance.
It will operate 24/7, with a focus on managing peak periods like Ramadan and Hajj.

Ahead of the anticipated arrival of Ramadan 1447 AH, a new Smart Engineering Center for Command and Control has been inaugurated at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah.
The center was opened by His Excellency Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, Minister of Hajj and Umrah and Chairman of the Board for the General Authority for the Care of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque.

Spanning 315 square meters, the facility is equipped with 22 wall-mounted display screens and advanced operational platforms. It is designed as a unified hub to monitor all services and assets within the mosque complex.
The center will use real-time digital data—including information on assets, service delivery, and visitor feedback—to enhance operational oversight and accelerate response times to any issues.

Staffed by qualified personnel working in four shifts, the center will operate continuously to manage daily operations and is built to handle the increase in visitors during peak seasons like Ramadan and Hajj.
Key systems integrated into the center include smart notification platforms, compliance monitoring tools, and performance analytics.
