Who Exactly Got the Vote? MG Readers Share Unfiltered Views
The presidential election this year was nothing short of a whirlwind. If you’d asked anyone to guess who’d take the presidency, they’d have said Trump stood no chance against the possibility of America’s first Black female President. To get an insider look, we connected with our MG readers to see if their votes at the polls resonated with the tally of the 2024 presidential race. Here’s a look at some of the responses that spoke most powerfully to us.

In our Muslim Girl poll, only 9% of readers supported Trump, based on over 6,600 votes. This shows just how strongly our community leans left. The idea that a third-party vote would automatically help Trump? Honestly, that feels a bit overblown.
Third-party votes can technically pull from either side, creating a small margin, but at the end of the day, it was rather obvious that Trump was already leading the ballot by enough that third-party votes probably didn’t make a difference.
