Senior imams from the Grand Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah convened in a high-level preparatory meeting for the upcoming month of Ramadan 1447 AH (2026).
The session, chaired by Sheikh Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, President of Religious Affairs for the Two Holy Mosques, focused on finalizing service plans and a new strategy for global outreach.
The reviewed operational plans to wide range of services designed to enrich the pilgrim experience.
Key initiatives include organized scientific lessons, intensified programs for answering religious inquiries, and the provision of verified multilingual content.
The preparations also cover full operational readiness and specialized training programs, such as Quranic circles and oratory workshops for the imams.
In a related coordination meeting, His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Makkah Region, was briefed on the plans by Sheikh Al-Sudais and a delegation of Grand Mosque imams.
