College lecturers at the BRAIS conference

On 18–19 May 2026, the British Association for Islamic Studies (BRAIS) annual conference was held at the Institute of Ismaili Studies and Aga Khan University, King’s Cross, London. Among the presenters were two scholars affiliated with The Islamic College. Dr Amina Inloes delivered a paper entitled ‘Meteors in the Quran’, while Dr Saeed Sobhani presented ‘The Glorification of All Beings in the Quran: A Theological and Philosophical Study of Tasbīḥ‘. Both sessions were well received by the audience, generating thoughtful and engaging question and answer exchanges that reflected the strong interest of conference participants in the topics presented.
